Following an intense month of conversation and exploration, our Hot House residency of recent arts graduates from South Wales has come to an end. With artists selected from degree courses across South Wales, this month of curatorial support and funded practice provides graduates with a bridge into professional practice. Hot House consists of three weeks of mentoring from the Curatorial Team at MADE, external professional artist visits and access to studio space plus a bursary of £250 towards materials/artist fee. Hot House forms part of our Arts Council of Wales enabled annual programme.
Previous participants include Eleanor Dalley, Annie Fenton, Adele Giles, Sashi Handford, Tom Lloyd, Natasha Mitchell, Sacha Reid, Hannah Short, Luis Tapia.
Previous artist mentors include Ethan Dodd, Mylo Elliot and Tactile Bosch.
Please join us on 11.9.21 for the ‘Hot House’ exhibition opening day, showcasing the body of work produced by the 4 artists involved.
