Storytelling Masterclass
The School of Illustration have partnered with The Art House in Sheffield to deliver a live 2 day masterclass in illustration for storytelling. You’ll explore the fundamentals of illustrating for a range of narrative commercial outcomes, from children’s picture books to graphic novels. You’ll learn about story structure, character design, composition and everything else you could possibly need to create fantastic final illustrations.
You’ll also take a look at illustration for storytelling from an entrepreneurial perspective, learning about routes into the publishing industry, the roles of publishers, editors and agents, and most importantly, how to get your work in front of them!
This masterclass is limited to 10 students, so it’ll be a lovely intimate group with plenty of time for one to one feedback and tons of opportunity to have all your questions answered.
