Making an Impression: Printmaking Exhibition

This is the first opportunity to see original linocut illustrations by St Albans-based illustrator-printmaker Jonathan Emmerson from a brand new natural history picture book ‘Above, Below and Long Ago‘ (publication date: 13th October), as part of a group exhibition called ‘Making an Impression’. The artists’ inspirations, techniques and outcomes are diverse, with their common link being meeting through Digswell Arts Trust in Hertfordshire.

‘Above, Below and Long Ago’ is produced with the Natural History Museum and published by Wayland (Hachette Children’s Group), with words by science and wildlife author Michael Bright.

Artists exhibiting: Mary Down, Marian Hall, Declan Hoare, Sue Jarman, Jonathan Emmerson.
