What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
What I like most is that I've visualized the world I created. This is a breakthrough for me as I rarely achieved this level of completeness in world-building before.
Where do you usually work?
I don't have a studio yet, so I usually work at home, in my small bedroom cause the rental in NY is insanely high. I work on paper around 17x17inches and my ipad.
How long did it take to complete your project?
2 month I'd say. I've always had this idea in mind, the brainstorm process and the story writing part took me about a month, sketches and finals took took me another month.
What is your dream commission?
I like to do a lot! Anything that can challenge me or bring me new things! Topics I’m drawn to include nature, technology, animals, people, mental health, LGBTQIA+, and fantasy...
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
It's hard for me do decide now. but recently, I love to go to park and draw people and trees in my sketchbook.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Keep creating!! don't let anything stop you!
