Why did you choose to enter this work?
I like how this illustration came out and I really love the theme. As the experiment was successful, I wanted to share it with this beautiful global community.

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
When I did, I didn't think too much of it. But as many people liked it a lot, this encouraged me to enter this project in the award. I never thought I would get this far! :)

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
It's feeling part of a community. Having my work recognized among so many talents that I have known and admired for years. It's very encouraging and motivates me to continue to believe in myself.

Where do you usually work?
I have a little studio in my godmather's house. It's my favorite place to be alongside my cats and dog.

How long did it take to complete your project?
About 20 hours I spent in this one.

What is your dream commission?
I have many dreams to fulfill. I really love my craft and enjoy every opportunity I can get to earn a living at it. But if I had to pick one, it would be to illustrate an entire book.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Fantasy themes, ornaments, creatures, animals, fur and hair, vintage themes, cozy food, classic literature, nature, complex compositions, horror, lots of details, fashion, female figures.

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Believe in your potential. Invest time and every resource you can spare into your career. There is no talent without training and hard work. Never stop studying and learning about your craft.

What are your plans for the future?
Expand the boundaries of my work, pursue my dreams of working continuously with book publishing, packaging, advertising and always maintain a body of authorial work. Never stop learning and growing.
