The animation serves as an endeavor to portray life in Kingston, offering a glimpse into the local environment and its people from the perspective of an outsider. It aims to establish connections with individuals who undergo the process of relocating to new places, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding of the diverse experiences associated with such transitions. - How were your illustrations used?
The animation has been screened at Sunday Shorts Film Festival, Lift-Off Global Network, and Little Venice Film Festival. - What materials and techniques did you use?
The exploration involved multiple approaches, such as stop motion animation, screen printing, mono-printing, etching, sound editing, documenting, bookbinding, different mediums of hand drawings, and research. Together, these elements formed a non-linear, experimental, documented, and fragmented animation. - Was this project commissioned?
