Why did you choose to enter this work?
I entered my piece "Chelsea Bee" into the World Illustration Awards because it holds a special significance for me and my connection to Chelsea, London and I wanted to share it for the world.

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
The incredible support, energy and enthusiasm from AOI that comes with this honor.

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
Being a shortlisted artist fills me with excitement as it presents the thrilling prospect of sharing my work with a worldwide audience.

Where do you usually work?
I mostly work in my studio. However, I enjoy taking my laptop to public spaces as well.

How long did it take to complete your project?
Chelsea Bee took a couple weeks to complete.

What is your dream commission?
Bringing my work to life for a motion picture.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I enjoy creating artistic representations of nature and human concepts, allowing my creativity to flow and manifest in unique and imaginative ways.

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Fully embrace life and actively engage with the world around you, as it provides a rich tapestry of experiences, emotions, and inspirations that can be translated into your illustrations.

What are your plans for the future?
In 2024, I have plans to establish and open my own studio, a space where creativity can flourish and artistic visions can come to life.
