María Luque was born in Argentina in 1983. She has been exhibiting her work since 2005 in museums and independent spaces in Argentina, Chile, Peru, México, Spain, and Portugal.
Her work comprises drawing and painting, and it sometimes results in publications and fanzines.
She’s the author of “La mano del pintor” a graphic novel about the painter Cándido López (Sigilo, 2016, L'Agrume Éditions, 2017), “Casa transparente” (Sexto piso, 2017, Premio Novela Gráfica Ciudades Iberoamericanas), "Espuma" (Galería Editorial, 2018) and "Noticias de pintores" (Sigilo, 2019).
