Born and grown up in Karlsruhe, Germany. Studied visual communication at the Kunsthochschule Kassel from 1987 to 1994. Lives and works since then in Kassel for magazines, institutions, agencies and book publishers in Germany and abroad. In addition, since 2014 lecturer for free drawing at the Akadmie für Kommunokation in Freiburg i. Br, Germany
