Daniel is an award-winning editorial illustrator and author based in Bogotá, Colombia. As an illustrator, his work mainly focuses in conceptual images for book covers, and top selling newspapers and magazines. As an author/illustrator, he is deeply inspired by his interests in semiotics, linguistics and any other manifestation of the broader meaning of language. Among other accolades, his recent and first published graphic novel, Gravity, was awarded the Gold Medal in the Book category from The Society of Illustrators in New York. - Where did you hear about the competition?
