2024 | Longlist | Book Covers
  • Why did you create this work?
To depict the protagonist Taro from the book, he is an elderly cat who cares for everyone on the old street, much like a neighborhood leader concerned about the community's well-being. On the cover, he is shown resting with his legs crossed, like the elderly people outside the grocery store. What is he thinking? The fading sunlight, tinged with nostalgia, bathes him in a pink tone and blue shadows
