2024 | Longlist + Shortlist | Design Product & Packaging

Preferred Pronoun?
She/Her

Why did you choose to enter this work?
I hope to share the delightful world of my imagination with others through vivid visuals and dynamic compositions.

What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
My two favourite things are the ornate frame designs and the fairy tale narrative approach.

What excites you most about being shortlisted?
It’s incredibly exciting to be among the most talented illustrators in the world and to receive recognition from the WIA. It's also amazing to have my project presented to a larger audience.

Where do you usually work?
I often find inspiration and sketch at my favourite coffee shops, enjoying the view of pedestrians passing by. When it’s time to bring those ideas to life, I settle in my living room with my laptop.

How long did it take to complete your project?
It took me one and a half months, working with my art director Felix Mac, to complete the entire series of packaging designs.

What is your dream commission?
I am excited about all types of commissions and find joy in drawing anything. One of my dream projects would be illustrating a children’s pop-up book.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I love capturing delicious foods whenever I try out a new restaurant, and I also enjoy sketching furry little animals!

What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Treat all of your commissions like your little babies, and seek feedback from peers when you've been staring at them for too long. :)

What are your plans for the future?
I aspire to connect and collaborate with creative directors and illustrators worldwide to bring more exciting and innovative projects to life.
