How did you make this work:
5 years ago, I was daydreaming about skateboarding. I let my mind drift and 'zoom out', and suddenly I saw the entire scene as a looping fractal. I wasn’t skilled enough to animate it, but kept the idea shelved in my mind. Last year, I was lucky enough to be mentored by the amazing Eric Pautz and Fabio Valesini (from Giant Ant studio), who helped me finally bring my loop to life!

Biography:
Shali is an animator and illustrator from Leeds. After graduating from an architecture degree, she decided to turn her passions to visual storytelling into a career. She began learning the basics of animation from books and online resources, and developed her skills by creating simple looping gifs. After working as a freelancer for 3 years, she is now doing an MA in animation at Gobelins Paris
