Projecting a sense of calm and community for patients and staff in Oncology

Site Specific

Un-commissioned | New Talent

How were your illustrations used? :
College or university project, Exhibition or installation

How did you make this work:
Created for permanent exhibition in a new Oncology Unit, to bring a sense of community and calm to the patients and staff who have to spend long periods of time there. I used pastels and coloured pencils to create a soft, calming atmosphere, focusing on themes associated with recovery that can also be found in the surrounding Cornish woodland, such as pathways, obstacles, and community.
