Why did you make this work:
I was commissioned to make this artwork for Wiley's 2019 single Boasty featuring Stefflon Don, Sean Paul and Idris Elba. I wanted to recreate the exhilarating feeling of being in a sweaty house party, where you're packed shoulder to shoulder with your friends and yelling the lyrics to songs into the air as someone's bedroom is being completely destroyed around you.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was used as artwork for the single and also to promote the release of the single on socials.

How did you make this work:
I drew elements of the illustration in Adobe Illustrator then comped it together in Photoshop.

Biography:
Mason London is the pseudonym of Joe Prytherch. Born in London, he's currently living in Uppsala, Sweden and is a freelance designer, illustrator and animator. Before he went freelance he was art director at online music platform Boiler Room and he now works predominantly for clients in the music industry.
