The Lonely Queen Ant is a work based on the monoprint experiment, which is a fantasy about ants as a colony. Will there be beautiful flowers cultivated in underground caves, and will the queen have her own problems?

Biography:
Xiaoyi Zhang is a Chinese illustrator based in Cambridge, she studied Children's Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University. She likes to show the magical world in her imagination through the drawing of narratives, rich textures and playful colours. Her work covers book covers, children's books, packaging and more.
