- Why did you create this work?
We had the idea of a crossover book, that while providing information, anecdotes and curiosities, involved the viewer on a visual level. Colors Atlas (L'Atlante dei colori) is a narrative non-fiction picture-book that with poetry, irony and suggestion leads us through the world of colors to discover their meaning and history. There are colors that can kill, changed meaning over the centuries... - How were your illustrations used?

Carla Manea lives in Schio in the north east of Italy. She studied arts in High school, then illustration. She worked as graphic design an currently is a freelance illustrator. She were selected by Soi of NY 64 and 65 and many others. She's been working for publishers, such us Mondadori, Giunti, Corsare, Rue des Enfants (Fr), Anno Domini (Uk)...
