My friend Yijun Yu wrote this story years ago. We collaborated to create the storyboard, and I illustrated them into a picture book.
It was a story about people who are living in an island travel around the world in summer and go back to their home land in winter. It tells a story about the cycle of seasons and people's relationship between home and outside world.
What materials and techniques did you use?:
I drew the sketches on paper, and then finish the final illustrations in Photoshop

Huiyan Wang is a Chinese illustrator and animator, currently based in London. Huiyan is passionate about creating illustrations and making them live through animation and ceramics, and takes inspiration from everything happening in her daily life and dreams.
