- Why did you create this work?
Plasti-scene is a research-based illustration series exploring the consequences of microplastics integrating into human and nonhuman biology post the 6th Great Extinction. Through the eyes of 'outsiders' visiting Earth's disrupted ecosystem, it envisions a world where exposure to microplastics results in Plasticization among all creatures, fostering a transverse force that reconnects all species. - How were your illustrations used?
This series of illustration was used as a creative tool to educate the audience about the potential future implications of our environmental actions, effectively symbolized by plastic. - What materials and techniques did you use?
