I wanted to let you know that after 5 and half very happy years I have made the difficult decision to leave the AOI. It has been such a privilege, and huge pleasure to work with you, and within this amazing industry. 

Since 2016 when I joined, we’ve achieved a huge amount – our community has grown hugely, our membership has doubled, and our service has responded to the changing needs and opportunities within the industry. The AOI is in a good place. It has an amazing team of staff, and an exceptional board who care passionately, and work tirelessly to support our members, and all illustrators. 

We are financially secure and, if not flush with money, have enough to invest in an ever improving service, reflecting the diverse and ever changing industry that we are in.

I will sorely miss the AOI and the generosity, creativity and friendliness of all members. I have learnt so much, and enjoyed it all. Thank you.

I will be around until February, and will remain a passionate advocate for the AOI and the industry going forward.
