The AOI are thrilled to introduce our new branding illustrations, created by award winning illustrator Tania Yakunova! 

This year we set Tania the brief to create a series of empowering images, illustrating our vibrant community and the support the AOI can offer. We wanted these illustrations to represent issues that affect illustrators on a day to day basis, from contracts to self promotion. As well as celebrating the talent and resilience of the illustration industry. Sure enough, Tania exceeded our expectations – creating a dynamic set of images, that perfectly communicate the AOI’s mission to champion all illustrators.

Tania Yakunova initially caught our eye with her entry to the 2020 World Illustration Awards, where she was shortlisted in the Design Product & Packaging category. Tania is based Kyiv, Ukraine and her playful portfolio spans across publishing, editorial, packaging and commercial illustration. Tania is an active member of the local artist community, regularly giving lectures and workshops about illustration. Her impressive client lists includes Apple, Google, Coca-Cola and Visa Gold.
