The Italian visual creators organisation, Associazione Autori di Immagini, announce their call for Entries for AI Annual 2015: the most comprehensive Italian publication on Illustration in Italy and Europe. It offers a prestigious showcase for established and emerging Image authors to share their work on an international platform.

This year Annual opens its boundaries to all Image Authors worldwide: all illustrators, comic artists, cartoonists and any other image creators who have published work in Italy or who would like to share their unpublished work are eligible for participation.

The Call for entry is open now and you’ll have until 19 October to submit your work.

Annual selects the best and most valuable works in all areas of illustration as an applied art: participants have the opportunity to enter work in 22 different categories ranging from editorial, advertising and institutional images to those used in disciplines such as interior design and architecture, from cartoons and comics to 3D animations and more.

Selection of entries is carried out by a judging panel of industry experts and all entries are anonymous to ensure judges are unbiased.

AI Annual offers qualified visibility. The publication will be launched and distributed at Bologna Children’s book fair, catching the interest and attention of a broad range of editors and art directors in Italy and abroad. In addition successful selection for Annual 2015 also means an opportunity to increase your online presence as it guarantees permanent presence in the online gallery of the Autori di Immagini’s new website.

AI Annual is organised and curated by Associazione Autori di Immagini which is amongst European Illustrators Forum (EIF) founding members. Thanks to the AI partnership, all EIF Members (which include the AOI) can take advantage of the special AI Member discount to enter the publication, so AOI members can enter using the discount.
