Why did you make this work:
I was commissioned by AARP to create this illustration to advertise their feedback forum on The Ethel, a community for women aged 55+. The concept considered a study revealing that 70% of older women feel increasingly unseen and overlooked. By making the image as bold and striking as possible and featuring an older woman's feedback being seen, the advert tells women that their input is valuable.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
After making sketches in Procreate on the iPad, I created the final illustration in Adobe Photoshop, incorporating paper texture, highlights and shadows to achieve a striking layered composition. I aim to blur the line between computer and paper-cut art to create a concise concept with strong visual impact.

How were your illustrations used:
The illustration was used on AARP's The Ethel website and in direct marketing emails.
