Drawing inspiration from English words I often mispronounce, I initiated a series called 'Close Enough.' Each artwork centers around a set of words that share a very similar sound to non-native English speakers. I see this creation as a way of owning a foreign language, speaking with an accent and grammar mistakes unapologetically, yet remaining open to improvement with fun and exploration.
