Why did you make this work:
There are many ways to describe London, and this metropolis is supposed to be constantly vibrant and engaging. However, when I initially came to London three years ago during the lockdown, the city was abnormally quiet. I began drawing and documenting this city until the pandemic slowed down. Looking at these illustrations makes me feel as if this city was with me through this difficult time.

Biography:
Yedda Chen is a London-based illustrator who works on publishing projects, commercials, and advertising. Her work often explores vivid cityscapes and nature in vibrant colours. Since graduating from Camberwell College of Arts, she has worked on various projects with clients such as The Wombles, EVA Air, and Kang Hsuan Educational Publishing Corp.
