Why did you make this work:
One of life's constant processes is bidding farewell, including to my precious mother. Observing the profound connection between the human body and nature, like how our hair grows like grass emerging from the soil, I aim to blend these elements to convey a poignant message: As I age, my mother grows older too. This realization urges me to cherish our moments together while they last.

I am Teow Jing Ming, an illustrator based in Taiwan and originally from Malaysia. Drawing is my preferred method of self-expression, and my brush is my trusty tool for capturing my life. I enjoy using painting to tell stories and express my thoughts through each piece.
