She/Her - Why did you create this work?
SMOOCH Magazine was a personal project, fully researched, written and illustrated by me during my final year of univeristy to push my design and editorial illustration skills. It explores the topic of adopting animals, teaching children how the adoption process works, along with fun facts, stories of animals that have been adopted, activities and illustrations. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations and content within SMOOCH were compiled into a 28 page magazine which was then printed on recycled paper. The magazine was displayed for my final degree show. - What materials and techniques did you use?
SMOOCH was created with a mix of digital illustration, oil pastel, papercut and photography, all scanned and brought together within Photoshop and Indesign. - Was this project commissioned?
