she/her - Why did you create this work?
I live in Nice, France, and felt inspired to craft a piece highlighting one of its renowned landmarks, the Sun Fountain, with the statue of Apollo and a seagull that perpetually sits on its head, holding an equally iconic presence. - How were your illustrations used?
Self-promotion, portfolio - What materials and techniques did you use?
I mainly work in digital but I always start with pencil and paper for brainstorming and sketching out ideas. Next, I will head to Procreate or Fresco to refine the initial sketch before creating the final art in Photoshop. I love bringing traditional techniques like risograph and screen printing into my creative process. - Was this project commissioned?
