She, born in Vitoria-Gasteiz , based in Basque Country (Spain) and currently in Urbino (Italy) - Why did you create this work?
When I heard the song of frogs and see the sky, the image immediately came to me, I think Arnold Lobel's characters appeared in my head. The animals are recurrents in my illustrations, and I love to represent the realation to them. - How were your illustrations used?
As a poster for a collective exhibition. - What materials and techniques did you use?
I have used gouache, colored pencils, crayons and digital final arts. - Was this project commissioned?

Saioa Aginako, born in Vitoria-Gasteiz. After studying psychology and working as such, she began to train as an illustrator at Escola Massana, Centro d'Art i Disseny de Barcelona. She is currently completing her studies at ISIA Urbino, Higher Institute for Artistic Industries. Her work is characterized by its versatility, being nature her great source of inspiration. - Where are you currently based?
