- Why did you create this work?
I was commissioned by The New Yorker to illustrate a cover for their Dr. Martin Luther King Jr issue, and I decided to depict a side of him rarely seen - an American civil rights hero, who was, more importantly, a tender father of four. - How were your illustrations used?
