Why did you make this work:
Empathy is a collection of articles featuring surreal illustrations and dreamlike worlds centered around psychological themes like loss, memory and empathy.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
Integrating my personal experiences and emotions, I utilized pencil and charcoal for the analog aspect of the illustrations, followed by digital colorization.

How were your illustrations used:
These illustrations are part of my master's studies in communication design and illustration. The motivation behind this work was to depict complex emotions and themes such as empathy, resilience, and trauma through illustration, offering insight into experiences that are difficult to articulate unless one has lived through something similar.
