Why did you make this work:
Chosen for the BBC Studio book cover professional competition, the "How to Fix Almost Anything" cover targets young adults. It depicts characters tackling DIY tasks amidst pipes and planks forming the title. It conveys the message that youth can handle household challenges, while the dynamic digital illustration promises valuable home repair tips, empowering emerging adults.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
Crafted digitally with Adobe Photoshop.

How were your illustrations used:
The cover received a commendation and was presented in the University of Suffolk Degree Show 2023.

Biography:
Maria-Teodora Dragomir, based in Bucharest, has embraced visual expression from a young age and transitioned to digital mediums a decade ago. They graduated from the University of Suffolk, where they mastered various Adobe platforms. Their preferred artistic sectors are book illustration, typography and character design.
