"City Farmers" is a project which attempts to show the relationship between people and nature based on my research on city farms in London. I created four types of illustrations as five or six colour screen prints about the history and principles of city farms. I researched their history and roots, then I combined their attractions and interests into drawing imaginary places.
What materials and techniques did you use?:
Photoshop, Screen Printing on 700mm x 1000mm papers.

Biography:
Mamo Kawakami is a Japanese illustrator based in London. He works mainly in editorial and advertising illustration, enjoying printing techniques such as Risograph or Screen Printing with a pop and expressive style. He also organises the music and film magazine "Chew", and introduces the relationship between illustration and culture in the magazine.
