How did you make this work:
For 'Beyond Bloomsbury: Life, Love and Legacy' at York Art Gallery, I was commissioned to bring to life the vibrancy of Bloomsbury’s work through large scale murals, decorative objects and community workshops. Painted over 4 days, the floral centrepiece created a rich backdrop for the exhibition, inspired by the busy, lively and enriching environments in which the group lived and worked.

Biography:
Lydia Caprani is a graphic artist based in Hull, UK. Working as an artist, designer, and illustrator, Lydia works in the culture sector collaborating with arts organisations to deliver community engagement and public art projects. Her murals and decorative interventions are informed by local patterns, history and stories. She also works as Creative Designer for Leeds Museums & Galleries.
