Why did you make this work:
A personal piece inspired by one of my favorite concerts to date. Granted it was a rap show rather than blues and there were only thirty people there rather than hundred’s and it was in the back of a dive bar rather than Toshi's, but the vibe was the same.

Biography:
I live in rural Chapel Hill, North Carolina just outside of Carrboro on a farm with my wonderful partner and two incredible pups. My current portfolio focuses on narratives and snippets of life through crowds and clusters of information. My past work have appeared internationally spanning the editorial, advertising, surface design, fashion, merchandise, and publishing fields for clients such as The Atlantic Monthly, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Conde Nast, The Food Network, Scholastic, Ogilvy and Mather, The Travel Channel, The New York Times, The New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, and Wine Spectator Magazine. My work has received awards and recognition from American Illustration, Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, 3×3, and the Art Director Club’s, to name a few.
