- Why did you create this work?
The Attic is a short narrative made for children and inspired by the poem 'The Listeners' by Walter de la Mere. Created for a final project on the MA at Cambridge School of Art, it follows a child exploring their new home, and the dangers that may be lurking within. - How were your illustrations used?
The images form part of a prospective collection of dark tales for children. - What materials and techniques did you use?

Lorraine is based in London and has just graduated from her MA in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. A former secondary school librarian she is passionate about storytelling for all ages and loves humour as well as the darker side of tales. - Where are you currently based?
