- Why did you create this work?
The illustrations were created as a series to talk about the issues of hate and extremism hitting the main street in the USA.
The illustrations talk about social media bullying, the spread of conspiracy theories and of hate groups causing cracks in democracy.
The cover illustration shows how pervasive the problem is in modern they society. in schools, neighbourhoods and online platforms. - How were your illustrations used?
The illustrations were used for the cover and as text illustrations for "The Year in hate and extremism" report publication created yearly by The Southern Poverty Law Center. They were also used as promotional images on social media when the report was released. - What materials and techniques did you use?
