- Why did you create this work?
Reflecting on the time I spent in my favourite LA neighbourhood (Echo Park) over the summer, I aimed to capture its essence and my experiences within this illustration. The intention was to convey a sense of exaggeration, something I feel is often attributed to American culture. I did this by incorporating oversized elements, using bold colours and a detailed isometric perspective. - How were your illustrations used?
I will aim to sell them as prints in my online shop. - What materials and techniques did you use?
Procreate for the initial sketches. Then Adobe Illustrator for the final piece. - Was this project commissioned?
