Jonny was born in Dunfermline, Scotland. He studied at Liverpool School of Art and The Royal College. He now lives in Southampton and has been represented by Heart since 1999. His work is an immediate and fervent style of painting and drawing with techniques that mimic the process of screen printing and lino cuts. He has worked prolifically for a wide range of clients including The Royal Shakespeare Company, Penguin Randomhouse and The Folio Society. He is currently working with Museums Northumberland on 'Northumberland Folk' a series of events and exhibitions exploring the history, stories and traditions of Northumberland. - Where are you currently based?
