Why did you make this work:
The issue, "Farenheit 214", features stories about Texas' banned book problem— it's second in the nation (just behind Florida) when it comes to banning books. (214 being the area code for Dallas)Because my illustrations are paper sculptures, I had the unique opportunity to take my concept all the way to its limit. I set it on fire.

Biography:
Jeff lives on a small farmstead in Minneapolis just down the road from Paisley Park. Blending 2-D and 3-D, his illustrations are an assemblage of traditional drawing and painting, cut paper relief, scale models, and found object. As a former designer for Broadway and television, you can see how his illustrations are rooted in tactile theatrical techniques.
