- Why did you create this work?
I collaborated with vintage style activist Dandy Wellington and created and sold timed edition12x17" archival prints and raised $3,000 for the FIT Black Student Illustrators Award which awarded 2 graduating Black illustration students each $1,500 to help bridge the gap between graduation day and professional success in the illustration industry where only 3% is black. - How were your illustrations used?

Jason Raish is a freelance illustrator based in Brooklyn. He was born in South Korea and raised in the forests of western New York State. He's lived and worked Seoul, Beijing, Tokyo, Barcelona, London, and Paris. He also teaches at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC. - Where are you currently based?
