I use children's playfulness to turn the complex and stressful adult society into a naive utopia. Because I want to bring back the simplicity of childhood and dissolve the pressures of real life. Meanwhile I also work on childhood nostalgic textures to find visual memories of a distant yesterday and graphic based compositions through this series.
What materials and techniques did you use?:
Digital. Inspired by some vintage toy sales brochures to simulate a retro print effect.

Biography:
Gyayu Wang is an illustrator and graphic designer who graduated from the University of the Arts London. She loves to use rich characters to express her views on identity and social life. She hope her works could melt the unpleasantness of reality like sunshine!
