Why did you make this work:
Since 2019, I've collaborated with Beyond The Glass and Kody Deretic, designing ever-evolving labels for this wonderful brand and team. The brief for the 2023 vintage was to create playful, whimsical, nostalgic, and confidently straightforward designs, centered around the client's dogs. These illustrations also reflect the client's winemaking journey, adding a personal touch to each bottle.

What materials and techniques did you use?:
Traditional mixed media of acrylics, crayons and pencils. Photographed and collaged digitally. Digitally adjusted for the different seasons.

How were your illustrations used:
For the 2023 vintage, seven wines were released, each with a unique flavour or variety. Each wine featured a distinct landscape on its label. Additionally, there were four dedicated scenes for each landscape, depicting different seasons and activities of the "inspiration" dogs.

Biography:
Georgia Camden, an Australian illustrator based in Berlin, draws inspiration from her tropical upbringing and English heritage. She employs various artistic mediums, ranging from traditional painting learned through years of fine arts studies to integrating her degree in Communication Design with digital tools. She recently illustrated a book with Penguin Publishing Germany.
