Emily Ford is Editorial Manager of Picture and Gift Books at Macmillan Children's Books and has worked in children's publishing for fourteen years.
Her career began at HarperCollins before moving to Puffin. She now works at Macmillan where she commissions and edits picture books and novelty titles and is lucky to work with a wide range of talented authors and illustrators, including the bestselling Axel Scheffler and Julia Donaldson, Mick Inkpen, Benji Davies, Tor Freeman, Tim Hopgood, Katherina Manolessou and Marta Altes.
Emily lives in London and holds a BA in The History of Art from UCL and an MA in Children's Literature from Roehampton University.
Emily judged the Children’s Books category for the WIA2015 Awards.
