Book Karnjanakit is an illustrator/writer/comic artist originally from Bangkok, now living in Baltimore. Her frequently used media include watercolor, pencil color and digital.
Currently she is a graduate student in the MFA Illustration Practice program at Maryland Institute College of Art. Every day she is also learning and unlearning about gender, sexuality, social justice and cultural differences. Her free time is often spent watching birds, exploring the city and eating yummy food. - Where did you hear about the competition?
