Makui Chocolate

Design Product & Packaging

Commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
A commissioned work for Makui handcraft chocolate, the concept of this packaging design was to introduce the Southern part of Thailand to the audiences. Each design represents Southern Thai cities, the origin of each cacaos with approachable illustrations in cheerful moods and tones. (Only one design Kui Buri was commissioned other two designs were completed on my own accord)

What materials and techniques did you use?:
After doing some research, I usually started it off with hand sketching on paper then adjusting the composition, coloring, and adding textures on Procreate. I transferred the file into PSD files to edit and finish the packaging mock-up on Adobe Photoshop.

How were your illustrations used:
The illustration used on the packaging of chocolate bars presents local cultures and attractions in different cities of Southern Thailand. Kui Buri National Park is the highlight of Kui Buri. It is full of wildlife, where visitors can animal watching especially wild elephants and bison which are exclusively available here. It was the reason for adopting those scenery into the package design.
