What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?

The article was on leadership, empathy in business, working remotely – topical topics during the pandemic. The creation of this illustration coincided with the adoption of a dog. This little guy became my inspiration and model.

What materials did you use?

I work on iPad Pro.

What processes did you use?

Digital.

How long did it take?

The drawing itself takes no more than 3-4 hours, but is usually preceded by longer thinking.

Why did you choose to enter this work?

This drawing is fun, artistically interesting and I think it captures human nature well in digital times

What is your best tip for other illustrators?

Take reality as inspiration, don’t copy it.

What’s your favourite thing to draw?

I very often draw the shape of a human head, in a more or less conventional way. Depending on the context, it can be a very nice graphic element.
