yoss_s - Biography
Yoss Sanchez is an illustrator, children's book maker and 2D animator based in San Jose, Costa Rica.
She studied Digital Animation at Veritas University (Costa Rica, 2017); and recently she graduated from her Masters degree in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin (England 2020)
Working as a full-time illustrator represented by Astound Illustration Agency, she has worked in many commercial projects, non-fiction educational books and activity books, for clients in the US, UK and Asia.
Drawing inspiration from movies, old pictures, nature and the "slice of life" genre, Yoss’ artwork is mainly digital, characterized by vibrant and colourful palettes with a strong sense of design. She also likes to experiment with screen print and collage. - Where are you currently based?
