Because this work is the favorite of my recent works.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
It is my first attempt to draw without tight linework and go directly from sketch to finish. It allows me to keep the looseness and funniest part of my work. I'm thrilled that this piece got selected
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
To be on the same stage with all the other talented artists.
Where do you usually work?
I usually work at my studio on my iPad.
How long did it take to complete your project?
Coralie's Mobile Doll House was a long-term project that took about two months from start to finish. The drawing time itself is around 50-60 hours.
What is your dream commission?
Get published by my favorite press Flying Eye Books! I've always loved the quality and designs of their publishing books, and I personally owned many books by them!
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Cute things with a colorful palette! My favorite palette is Magenta pink, Cobalt blue, and lemon yellow-green.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Relax and follow your heart!
What are your plans for the future?
Work as an independent illustrator and start an art studio with my friend.
