Why did you choose to enter this work?
Tagging is a common practice on social platforms which reinforce stereotypes among the public. So, I created this project to allow the audience to experience the dilemma of 'hash-tagge communication'.
What’s your favourite thing about your shortlisted project?
I prefer the interactive nature of the project which is designed as a game. The people involved in the game and the experience of the game will also be part of my work.
What excites you most about being shortlisted?
I am proud to have been shortlisted, it means that my work will be seen and understood by a wider audience.
Where do you usually work?
I usually work in my school studio and at home." Your world" is what I designed at school and finished at home.
How long did it take to complete your project?
This project took me about one to two months.
What is your dream commission?
I'm not sure, but I wish my work would get the value it is worth.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
I like to draw many things, one of which is to record life and the other is to talk about some social phenomena and opinions.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
My advice is to experiment with a wider range of subjects and materials and to create freely.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans are to work as a freelance illustrator, create my own illustration brand and set up an independent studio, taking the opportunity to showcase my work.
